Aroma: green apple and stone fruits with delicate notes of crème brûlée from the oak barrel fermentation
Palate: full bodied, bright flavors of white peach and nectarine with toasted oak
About: rich and complex with crazy-good balance of texture and bright acidity
This full-bodied white was a fun project Paul and Richard wanted to try back in 2017 using a portion of our Grenache grapes.
Hand harvested. After whole cluster pressing, the juice was fermented in new French oak barriques. After fermentation, the wine was transferred to 1-year old French oak for 14 months.
Food Pairing Suggestions: Buttered corn on the cob | roasted chicken | roasted pork with apples | grilled veal chops with mushrooms
